Talking Teal with a Titan!

Just when you think we couldn’t possibly come up with another idea, along comes a designing-titan with a proposal you KNOW you are going to love!

Comedian/Writer/Feel Teal Club Supporter, Shelly Ryan is no stranger to creativity, her recent chain of events are a testimony to this fact but this doesn’t slow her down…..The writing &  publication of a book was just a prelude to the next big step she was about to take, and of course, it involved her gift with humour and her teal-connection!

Inside October’s issue of the Feel Teal Club magazine, Shelly talked about her involvement with the club, (as far back as 2009) and that lovely heartfelt tribute to Gilda (Radner), which led to many special connections being forged, especially with those she had come into contact with through the club. This “connection” would see her spreading  awareness as easily as she did the laughter, brightening many a day for those who would eventually find their way over to the (Floor it)Humour Highway Facebook page!

In that previous magazine article, we got to meet Georgia, and we read how ovarian cancer had touched Georgia’s life….the sad loss of another mother.

This “teal-connection” led Georgia to join-in on the Quilt project, so I too made a new friend…..but it doesn’t stop there! With the  network of titans now expanding at a rapid pace, Shelly was already planning her next move and I was just as keen to hear what she had in mind….we discussed the notion of a radio production….something that could be shared over the internet allowing our “titans” to gain easy access while Shelly took the awareness to a higher level! This would include highlighting one guest per week in a ‘talk-back show’ format, discussing everything that is, TEAL!

The benefits to hosting such a programme are truly endless and what better way for a titan to share her passion than through talking?!
